About the Role

The Facilities Coordinator provides hands-on support across active veterinary practices, new veterinary practice openings, construction sites, and other operational projects. This is a junior support role focused on walkthroughs, deliveries, organization, setup, photos, and overall site readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day property, site, and operational needs across veterinary practices and project locations.
  • Assist with site walkthroughs and report conditions, maintenance concerns, project updates, and obvious deficiencies to leadership.
  • Serve as onsite eyes and ears at active veterinary practices, construction sites, and new practice openings.
  • Receive, organize, unpack, and inventory deliveries, supplies, furniture, and equipment at new or existing veterinary practice locations.
  • Assist with furniture assembly, supply organization, signage setup, storage organization, and other hands-on site needs.
  • Take photos and videos of site progress, deliveries, concerns, and completed work, and keep updates organized.
  • Support new veterinary practice openings and site setup activities.
  • Help ensure active practices and new locations remain clean, organized, and operationally ready.
  • Assist with vendor or contractor visits as directed by leadership.
  • Travel between veterinary practices, construction sites, and storage locations as needed.
  • Report concerns or questions promptly.
  • Complete additional property, launch, or operational support tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to ask questions.
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable following directions.
  • Comfortable working onsite at veterinary hospitals, construction locations, and new practice spaces.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone, email, and shared folders to send and organize photos and updates.
  • Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to assist with unpacking, organizing, lifting, carrying, and moving supplies as needed.
  • Interest in property operations, construction, healthcare operations, or veterinary operations.
  • Prior hands-on work, internship, customer service, administrative, or operations experience is a plus.
