About the Role

Provides operational trade/sales support and client service functions for GE Delta One Trading, focusing on OTC derivatives and listed equities, options, bonds, and futures. Serves as the first point of contact for middle and back-office issues and inquiries, and acts as a primary escalation point.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate institutional orders to client sub-accounts.
  • Process post-trade date corrections and cancel/re-bills.
  • Work through the daily fail report and unmatched trades report, resolving issues with client back office personnel.
  • Actively monitor settlement exceptions with the back office, ensuring timely settlement.
  • Liaise with Toronto P&S/Contracts, R&D, and trading for street-side clearing.
  • Act as a contact for Institutional traders regarding billing, settlement discrepancies, and trading errors.
  • Manage and reconcile desk inventory, taking necessary actions to help Trading manage holdings within set boundaries.
  • Reconcile wash and inventory accounts used for Institutional billing.
  • Coordinate Buy-in and Sell-out processes between traders, operations, and clients.
  • Coordinate with the new accounts group to open and maintain Institutional client sub-accounts.
  • Action various reconciliation reports including Imatch, Product Control, Sophis support, SPBS, and GEDA.
  • Calculate and distribute OTC notes and options internally and externally.
  • Handle instrument setup instructions internally and externally.
  • Calculate "in and out of scope" for 871m issues.
  • Monitor T0 systematic controls, including OMS fills vs swap bookings and trade flow exceptions.
  • Investigate and resolve booking breaks before EOD.
  • Produce and send swap activity reports/trade recaps to clients.
  • Validate dividend accruals for price return index constituents.
  • Confirm all trades are booked and reconciled against client fills.
  • Produce T+1 reporting as requested by clients and administration.
  • Follow up on any unresolved exceptions from the prior day.
  • Support valuation queries before market open.
  • Coordinate with settlements on upcoming payments/settlement statements.
  • Liaise with the confirms team on negative affirmation exceptions.
  • Quarterback all post-trade client service queries as a single point of contact internally.
  • Coordinate across confirms, settlements, valuations, and collateral teams on client issues.
  • Monitor for corporate action impacts on swap positions.
  • Escalate systematic issues to engineering.
  • Support new fund launches, including setup, testing, and first-day monitoring.
  • Support month-end/quarter-end settlement cycles.
  • Participate in client operational calls.
