About the Role
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer for our National and Alamo car rental brands. This position is located at the Albany International Airport, NY.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, and perform factory resets
- Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
- Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage and report any safety concerns
- Fuel and stage vehicles
- Pull vehicles out of processing as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers and transport them to and from branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exterior of branch locations
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position
- Must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
- Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
