About the Role
Performs patient assessment and provides life support services, ensuring patient care occurs at the scene and en route to the hospital. Identifies situations requiring immediate intervention and implements prescribed emergency measures safely, rapidly, and accurately. Validates medical control orders and advocates for patients to ensure medical control is aware of their condition. Provides clinical oversight to new employees and paramedic students as a field training officer. Acts as a quality and clinical resource for providers.
Responsibilities

- Validates the appropriateness of unusual medical control orders
- Functions as a patient advocate
- Provides clinical oversight to new employees and paramedic students
- Acts as the quality and clinical resource for the providers on their tour
