About the Role
Join the Radiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care. This role supports ER X-ray, Inpatient X-ray, and OR, requiring independent judgment and initiative to obtain diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain radiological diagnostic images.
- Respond appropriately to professional staff and patient demands.
- Assist management in sustaining a high quality of service.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography Technologist program.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License.
- Temporary license required for new graduates, with exam date supplied prior to employment.
- New York State Radiologic Technologist license must be obtained within six months of hire.
