About the Role
Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety, training and performance of all assigned employees, including contractors
- Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure successful operation of the plant
- Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring
- Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment
- Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability
- Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA and similar techniques
- Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment
- Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability
- Provide ongoing reports on the CBM program status
- Gather input and facilitate task completion through others
- Research solutions to technical problems
- Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners
- Provide technical support, training and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies
- Promote a culture of safety and exhibit safety behaviors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests
