About the Role

Raymour & Flanigan, a leading furniture retailer in the Northeast, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to enhance the customer shopping experience. This role is ideal for a career-minded individual.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and demand planning for import and domestic furniture product lines.
• Maintaining and developing monthly forecasts for a vendor portfolio using NetSuite Planning & Budgeting software.
• Developing systems understanding of demand planning software.
• Collaborating with Merchandising Buyers to align forecasts with seasonality and promotional activity.
• Evaluating promotion performance, analyzing sales history, and monitoring sales trends to improve forecast accuracy.
• Partnering with vendors to support demand and inventory strategy for new product launches.
• Managing company inventory targets from new product launch through to the exit of dropped collections.
• Maintaining strategic and collaborative relationships with the Merchandising team.
• Analyzing and developing a weekly supply plan to achieve consistent flow of finished goods.
• Ensuring optimal inventory levels, increasing inventory turns, and satisfying customer demand.
• Developing systems understanding of supply planning software to enhance product flow from forecast to purchase order.
• Tracking purchase order shipments through weekly vendor communications.
• Applying analytical skills to maintain safety stock levels and anticipate demand.
• Developing and fostering vendor partnerships at the executive, customer service, and logistics levels.
• Ensuring vendor compliance with supply chain expectations to reduce stock-outs and over-stocked items.
• Coordinating with the global logistics team for seamless merchandise flow.
• Developing close, cooperative relationships with cross-functional partners for mutually beneficial decisions.

Requirements

• Must thrive in a fast-paced, demand-oriented business with frequent and rapid priority changes.
• Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability, and demonstrated business acumen.
• 3-5 years supply chain or ERP Demand Planning work experience.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
