About the Role
SoFi is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented Direct Mail Project Manager to drive the operational execution of its Direct Mail program. This role requires understanding campaign strategy, translating business discussions into actionable plans, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project management for monthly Direct Mail campaigns, ensuring schedules, mail matrix, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are executed on time.
- Partner with Marketing Data Science to build campaign execution schedules aligned with business priorities, targeting strategies, and production timelines.
- Create, manage, and refine project plans and JIRA tickets throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional execution by translating business discussions into real-time updates to project plans, JIRA tickets, timelines, and stakeholder priorities.
- Drive cross-functional accountability by coordinating approvals, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and ensuring team alignment.
- Continuously evaluate campaign operations to identify risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Marketing Data Science and external vendors to optimize workflows, scheduling, and campaign execution.
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs, DACIs, and other operational documentation.
- Help evolve the Direct Mail operating model by implementing scalable solutions and managing Agency of Record assignments.
- Champion operational innovation by evaluating and adopting new technologies, AI capabilities, and automation solutions.
- Leverage campaign and operational data insights to identify trends, resolve process gaps, and improve campaign processes.
- Own the creation, maintenance, and quality control of campaign planning documentation, reporting, and mail matrices.
- Provide stakeholders and vendors with campaign requirements for multiple products and perform quality assurance across all campaign deliverables.
- Maintain recurring reports, Direct Mail performance dashboards, attribution reporting, and performance actuals.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline project management, documentation, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Stay current on evolving AI technologies and spearhead recommendations to enhance team productivity and execution quality.
- Champion thoughtful adoption of AI-enabled workflows to improve the Direct Mail program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting direct mail or other marketing campaigns within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to execute complex, multi-channel campaigns and operational initiatives.
- Experience using project management platforms (e.g., JIRA) to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace (particularly Google Sheets), and reporting tools such as Tableau.
