About the Role
As an impact.com Software Engineer working on the Onboarding squad, you will drive and take ownership of various technologies to build features, enabling large-scale processing of data supporting impact products. This role is part of an Agile/Scrum team and requires active participation in all sprint ceremonies. This role assumes a certain independent capability to investigate and learn new technologies for the platform, subsequently providing recommendations to various teams backed by solid understanding of the value a technology would provide. The engineer is responsible for delivering quality code and software solutions that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services on the cloud that power our UIs
- Assist on our Frontend developers changes to our UI
- Create powerful APIs for partners and advertisers
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, including ideation, prioritization, coding & testing
- Learn new technologies
Requirements
- Hard working, passionate & dedicated
- Knowledge of Spring Framework
- Experience with ORM Frameworks, preferred
- Experience with REST APIs
- 3+ years professional experience using Java and MySQL
- Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Enjoys working in the backend or the frontend
- Experience building on cloud platforms, GCP, Azure, or AWS
- Creative, enthusiastic and fun, with attention to detail
- A fast learner who loves solving problems
- A great communicator who enjoys working with others

- $120,000 - $140,000 USD per year
- 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance
