About the Role
Stantec's Design Visualization Services group blends design, data, and technology to craft meaningful visual stories. We are seeking a Senior 3D Visualization Specialist to transform technical designs into compelling, photorealistic visuals that inform, engage, and inspire.
Responsibilities
- Handle and manage extremely large 2D/3D datasets from CAD applications including Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil3D, ESRI, and Rhino.
- Develop and implement GIS/ESRI workflows tailored for visualization projects and geospatial data integration.
- Perform Civil3D conversions and apply advanced production methods to optimize data for visualization workflows.
- Conduct research and development in cutting-edge technologies (Gaussian splat, AI automation, Digital Twin, etc.) to advance Stantec’s visualization capabilities and deliver cutting-edge deliverables.
- Design and maintain custom 3ds Max tools and scripts used across visualization teams to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure visualization deliverables align with technical accuracy, design intent, and project timelines.

- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, planners, and designers to develop high-quality renderings, animations, and interactive experiences for infrastructure, water, environmental services, energy, mining, community development, and architectural projects.
