About the Role
As a Technician at Penske, you will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring customer vehicles remain in optimal condition and on the road. This role offers a dynamic work environment with exposure to various equipment types and cutting-edge technology, supported by experienced supervisors and master technicians.
Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
- Utilize Penske's tools and technologies for repair logging, research, and completion, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
- Perform preventative maintenance such as tire replacement/rotation, component lubrication/replacement, electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles.
- Collaborate with management to acquire new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined or completed vehicle repair training.
