About the Role

This Postdoctoral Research Fellowship position in translational biomedical science will focus on how hypothalamic and pituitary hormones may contribute to disease in mouse models of Down Syndrome. The trainee will study multiple organ systems and work with other trainees to collect, analyze, and interpret data. The position offers strong mentorship and encourages the development of an independent career in science.

Responsibilities

Study multiple organ systems (brain, eye, bone, adipose).
Work with other trainees to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
Develop and annually re-assess a career development plan.
Contribute to additional projects in the lab.
Develop an independent line of research.
Present work on a regular basis at local events and conferences.

Requirements

PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
