About the Role

The Visual Specialist leads the visual efforts in the store, including maintenance, merchandising, and merchandise processing, to clearly convey the brand to customers. This role partners with the store team to achieve sales goals, recognizing the direct impact of visual presentation on sales success.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes consistent daily product maintenance routines.
• Directs, leads, and executes campaign setups to support marketing initiatives and product presentation.
• Executes new product introductions from a visual presentation perspective.
• Leads the P.A.C.E. program for processing merchandise, including receiving, processing, and merchandising.
• Partners with the Operations Manager and Inventory Specialists to maintain and educate staff on stockroom organization.
• Trains all staff members on daily routine maintenance, merchandising guidelines, and merchandise processing.
• Ensures visual presentation reflects the brand, including straightening, down stocking, signage accuracy, prop samples, and cleaning.
• Stays informed and involved in all visual presentation areas through daily communication with store specialists.
• Works to improve product knowledge and shares information with customers and the store team.
• Provides feedback to management regarding training, follow-up, and coaching opportunities.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of and supports inventory accuracy.
• Checks email at least twice per shift and ensures staff commitment to timely communication.
• Drives initiatives, motivates, and inspires productive behavior to provide exceptional customer service and meet company goals.
• Engages with customers to solve organizational challenges.
• Is accountable for achieving sales goals in partnership with the store team.

Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Starting at $18.00 an hour, up to $23.00 an hour.
