About the Role

Restaurant Associates is the industry's leading provider of dining and event catering for prestigious museums, performing arts centers, and corporations. This role is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area.
• Adheres to liquor regulations regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up assigned bars and stocks all necessary supplies.
• Maintains stock, prepares, and stores garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
• Greets guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks.
• Checks guests' identification for proper age verification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, and verifies charges.
• Locks up and stores all beverage products, equipment, and cash drops.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Consideration for employment includes those with a criminal history (including relevant driving history) in accordance with applicable laws.
• Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
