About the Role

Ferring is seeking a Sales Specialist, Uro-Oncology to promote their intravesical gene therapy. This role is critical for driving sales in an assigned geographical area, achieving maximum sales volume by promoting Ferring Products to approved customers and distribution channels. The position requires navigating the intricacies of urologic and uro-oncologic settings of care and plays an important role in making a novel bladder cancer therapy available to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas.
  • Maintain regular contact with present and prospective customers.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in Sales field rides and follow through on developmental opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Effectively deploy and pull through territory resources, including marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Create, own, and develop effective relationships with approved and targeted customers.
  • Monitor and manage district expenses, budgets, and sample allotments.
  • Represent Ferring at appropriate professional industry meetings and seminars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 4 years in buy and bill medical or pharmaceutical sales.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Oncology and/or Urology strongly desired.
  • Bladder Cancer experience preferred.
  • Ability to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
  • Ability to identify potential customers and add to customer base.
  • Ability to meet expense management requirements.
  • Ability to meet demand generation goals.
  • Physical requirements include sitting approximately 3-4 hours at a time while driving, operating an automobile up to 60% of the time, walking up to 15% of the time, potential stair climbing, standing more than 1-2 hours at a time, and lifting/carrying items up to 20 pounds.
  • Long distance travel via airplane or other commercial conveyance approximately 2-3 times per year, with additional overnight and/or longer-distance travel potentially required more frequently.

Salary/Compensations

  • $135,000 to $179,000 base salary range
  • Additional compensation based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions
