Responsibilities

  • Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements

  • Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years Med/Surg experience preferred.
  • Experience with telemetry/cardiac patients preferred.
  • Med/Surg certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
