Responsibilities
- Share responsibility for all statutory and regulatory reporting for the International entities of The Hartford.
- Complete quarterly and annual reporting to Lloyd’s (QMA, QMB, QSR, Solvency UK, Trust Fund reporting etc.).
- Complete quarterly and annual reporting to the PRA in respect of the Hartford’s third-country UK branch.
- Complete annual statutory reporting for eight legal entities, including the group’s Hong Kong service company and Singapore service company.
- Ensure audit team deliverables are provided on a timely and accurate basis and assist the audit team with queries.
- Produce and enhance analytical supporting schedules for key regulatory returns to aid senior manager review and understanding.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders outside of the External Reporting Team (Actuarial, Risk, Claims, Ceded Re and other Finance teams) to ensure the delivery of information relevant to various external reporting returns.
- Work closely with other Finance team functions, both in the UK and within the US Group to ensure the accuracy of regulatory submissions and that any system or process changes adequately consider the impact on regulatory reporting.
- Leverage technology solutions and process improvement practices to enhance the efficiency of the team’s reporting responsibilities.
