About the Role

The Senior Communications Strategist will be a talented communicator and exquisite writer responsible for giving voice to senior company leaders and financial advisors. This role involves developing high-impact external content, understanding the company's value proposition, and leveraging the news cycle for nimble storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing thought leadership strategies for the company, senior leaders, and advisors.
  • Reinforcing proprietary research strategy to drive earned, owned, and social media coverage.
  • Cultivating positive relationships with senior leaders, key business partners, and communicators to mine content ideas.
  • Capitalizing on company milestones, events, and announcements.
  • Ensuring messages are consistent and complementary across channels and leaders.
  • Merchandising results to key stakeholders.
  • Guiding colleagues toward shared goals that generate positive business outcomes.
  • Working with colleagues to track and analyze the effectiveness of thought leadership content.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of strong writing experience.
  • Natural storyteller and problem-solver.
  • Capable of crafting precise, strategic, clear, crisp, accessible, and emotionally stirring communications.
  • Understanding of positioning and messaging nuances.
  • Executive presence with strong EQ and ability to establish rapport with leaders and advisors.
  • Proficiency using generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Writer) to accelerate content creation, research, editing, and ideation while maintaining brand, quality, and compliance standards.
