About the Role
NVIDIA is seeking Systems Engineers and Software Engineers to build and operate reliable, large-scale infrastructure platform services, ensuring the reliability of internal and external facing EDA services atop NVIDIA hardware. We are looking for creative, autonomous individuals who thrive on challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and run infrastructure services and manage the software lifecycle to meet business goals.
- Participate in defining internal-facing service level objectives and error budgets as part of the overall observability strategy.
- Eliminate toil or automate tasks where the return on investment justifies the effort.
- Practice sustainable blameless incident prevention and response, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Consult with and provide guidance to peer teams on systems design best practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to balance initiating projects, collaborating with others, and contributing to projects initiated by others.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and distributed systems design, including developing tools for running large-scale private or public cloud systems in production.
- Experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.
- In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Linux, Networking, Storage, and Containers.
