About the Role

Children and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS) provides voluntary therapeutic support to youth under 21. Through Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services (PSR) and Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST), providers deliver social and emotional support tailored to each youth's needs. The program helps youth build skills to overcome behavioral challenges and achieve healthy, age-appropriate functioning in home, school, and community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST).
  • Build strong and supportive, therapeutic relationships with youth and their families that meet their needs and follow treatment plan.
  • Promote the caregiver-child relationship in accordance with the established treatment plan.
  • Identify and communicate behavioral, emotional or medical needs with consented providers involved in the youth's care.
  • Confer regularly with program supervisor, licensed professional, and program director on child's progress.
  • Complete required administrative functions, including scheduling visits, planning activities, and documentation.
  • Provide safe transportation as part of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with child/youth, family members, and other involved service providers to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required for PSR position.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field required for CPST position.
  • 2 years experience in Human Service field required.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required.

  • $18.50-$24.50 an hour
