About the Role
HRforGrowth is partnering with a client organization to find a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney. This role involves handling commercial and corporate litigation, supporting regulatory investigations, and managing cases with increasing independence.
Responsibilities
- Handle commercial and corporate litigation matters
- Draft and argue motions in state and federal courts
- Support regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
- Manage assigned cases with increasing independence
- Conduct written discovery and oversee document productions
- Conduct legal research and draft substantive legal memoranda
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar admission in the state where the role is based (California for San Francisco/Newport Beach, Virginia for Alexandria, Florida for West Palm Beach, Texas for Austin)
- Candidates eligible for admission by waiver, reciprocity, or upcoming exam may be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Experience handling matters in state and/or federal court
- Experience drafting dispositive motions
- Discovery management experience
- AmLaw/boutique firm experience is a strong plus
- Government/regulatory/appellate background is a strong plus
- Judicial clerkship experience is a strong plus
