About the Role
We are seeking a warm, caring, and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team at Monkey Puzzle Ealing. Our vision is to inspire change through excellence in childcare, creating a positive impact for generations to come.
Responsibilities
- Help provide high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of the children.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain positive working relationships with the team, parents, and carers.
- Report issues of concern to a senior team member.
- Bring a positive attitude and creative ideas to inspire learning.
- Utilize good verbal and written communication skills with adults and children.
- Demonstrate great planning and organization skills.
- Show a willingness to learn.
- Work well under pressure.
Requirements
- GCSE grades 5-9/A-C.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
- Appropriate behaviour management.
- Participate in child observations and assessments with a good understanding of child development.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred).
- FGM knowledge (preferred).
- Safeguarding knowledge (preferred).
- Paediatric First Aid (preferred).
- Appropriate level of criminal record Disclosure and Barred check required.
