About the Role

Monkey Puzzle Olympia is seeking a Qualified (Level 3) Nursery Practitioner to join their team, contributing to high standards of care and education for children.

Responsibilities

  • Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring adherence to all legislation and EYFS frameworks.
  • Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments tailored to the needs of children and the nursery.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children through confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
  • Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
  • Report any issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
  • Work in partnership with parents and partners to ensure children thrive.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues, and visitors to foster a happy nursery environment.

Requirements

  • GCSE grades 5-9/A-C.
  • Ability to ensure the safety and welfare of children through confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
  • Appropriate behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to participate in child observations and assessments with a good understanding of child development.
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with the team, parents, and carers.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
