About the Role

Ohel's Employment Program seeks an experienced and compassionate Employment Supervisor to lead a team supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment and independence. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance employment opportunities and drive positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing supervision and support to Job Coaches and Job Developers.
• Coordinate staff schedules and provide operational leadership for seamless service delivery.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with OPWDD and program standards.
• Monitor documentation, billing, productivity, and service utilization.
• Support participants in achieving meaningful employment goals through effective vocational planning.
• Participate in Life Plan and interdisciplinary meetings to advocate for employment outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships with families, residences, employers, care managers, and community organizations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, solve challenges proactively, and enhance program effectiveness.
• Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, employment, or vocational services, OPWDD programs, or related human services strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license preferred.
