About the Role
Provide cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) treatment to clients with mood, anxiety, concurrent disorders, and trauma experiences. As a member of an interprofessional team, provide structured, client-centered psychotherapeutic care and support clients' integration into their communities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate individual and group treatment.
- Manage referrals and triage processes.
- Offer individual support to clients.
- Liaise with community health care providers.
- Collaborate with community organizations and primary care sites to deliver CBT.
- Participate in professional development, including coursework and consultation.
- Provide supervision to students.
- Contribute to the development of best practices unique to mental health and concurrent disorder treatment.
- Contribute to program development, research, and educational activities.
- Support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Provide clinical services in the day and evening.
- Provide clinical services in-person to OSP partner sites within the Toronto area.
- Provide clinical services virtually.
Requirements
- Must be capable of providing supervision to students.
- Must be capable of contributing to the development of best practices unique to mental health and concurrent disorder treatment.
- Must be capable of contributing to program development, research and educational activities of the service.
