About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop website strategies and roadmaps aligned with EDC's digital and customer experience vision, including long-term and intermediate goals.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Center of Excellence to define target customer journeys and digital channel vision.
- Work with business analysts, team members, and stakeholders to ensure strategies are implementation-ready.
- Conduct research, current state analysis, and industry benchmarking to define best practices.
- Translate strategies into actionable objectives by defining success metrics and resource requirements.
- Develop data strategies to leverage insights and deliver personalized digital experiences.
- Collaborate with designers to create user flows aligned with targeted personas.
- Support the development and implementation of scalable personalization strategies.
- Co-develop content strategies, including SEO, geo-targeting, and AI.
- Support accessibility strategies covering content, markup, and technology.
- Participate in annual and quarterly planning with business, technology, and delivery partners.
- Support the implementation of web strategy best practices in design, content, and development.
- Provide guidance on requirements, design, development, and data collection.
- Monitor web performance, user behavior, and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with UX designers to enhance usability and audience relevance.
- Support leadership in defining short- and long-term strategic objectives.
- Ensure consistency across web, search, generative AI, content, and personalization strategies.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and cross-functional teams.
- Advise teams on best practices in design, development, and content management.
- Support designers to ensure user experience and user interface align with strategic vision.
- Lead web transformation initiatives, including website redesigns, content strategy, and data collection strategy.
- Ensure alignment with broader marketing channels (campaigns, advertising, social media, email).
- Collaborate on platform migrations and the integration of new technologies, including generative AI.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong strategic mindset and ability to connect digital initiatives to business and customer outcomes.
- Deep understanding of usability and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to various audiences.
- Experience with project management and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with content management system platforms, SEO and geo-targeting practices, and web analytics tools.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
- Must meet government security clearance requirements.
