About the Role

Arms Acres is seeking a Peer Advocate for their outpatient team in Jamaica, Queens. This role provides non-clinical peer support to methadone and OPT clients, assisting with adherence to clinic policies, managing client flow, and supporting recovery plan development.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to all methadone and OPT clients.
• Encourage adherence to clinic policies and procedures.
• Manage client flow, particularly during peak arrival times.
• Assist in recovery plan development.
• Monitor waiting room, clinic restrooms, parking lot, and grounds during methadone dosing hours to ensure adherence to program regulations.
• Conduct patient drug screens when necessary.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA).

Salary/Compensations

• Up to $2,500.00 sign-on bonus for full CRPA, paid in 3 installments.
