About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you are the face of our brand, creating moments that make customers smile. Your mission is to deliver exceptional service, spark conversations, and assist customers with their shopping needs, whether they are discovering new products or finding the perfect gift. Proactively engaging with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations is essential. You will also maintain store standards, operate tills, support with deliveries, and work collaboratively with your team.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively approach and engage with customers, start friendly conversations to understand what they’re looking for, and make helpful recommendations from our product range.
  • Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently amazing customer experience.
  • Stay informed about our products, promotions, and services to help customers make informed choices.
  • Maintain excellent store standards, including merchandising, cleanliness, and stock replenishment.
  • Operate tills accurately and handle transactions with care.
  • Support with deliveries, stockroom organisation, and product availability.
  • Follow all operational procedures, including health and safety and loss prevention.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to meet store targets and KPIs.
  • Be a brilliant brand ambassador - positive, professional, and passionate about what we do.
  • Open and close the store securely and support with cash handling and store security (as a Keyholder).
  • Complete cashing-up and other end-of-day procedures accurately (as a Keyholder).
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of the store when a manager isn’t present (as a Keyholder).
  • Support colleagues and respond to customer or operational issues (as a Keyholder).

Requirements

  • Willing and able to proactively approach customers, start friendly conversations, understand what they’re looking for, and make helpful recommendations from our product range.
  • Passionate about creating a brilliant customer experience.
  • Supportive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a variety of shifts.
  • Comfortable learning to use tills and handle transactions accurately.
  • Able to stay organised and contribute positively in a busy, fast-paced store environment.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality is helpful but not essential.
  • Must be aged 18 or over to be trained as a Keyholder.
