About the Role

Greater Good Charities is seeking a Marketing Designer, Brand & Web to maintain and extend brand standards across all print and digital creative, including websites. This role involves designing campaigns, collateral, and identity systems, as well as managing day-to-day website updates.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the brand's look and feel across print, direct mail, web, email, social, and events.
  • Act as the brand steward, maintaining brand guidelines and reviewing outgoing materials for consistency.
  • Provide graphic design support for digital marketing, including email templates, social media graphics, and ad designs.
  • Design and produce print collateral such as direct mail, brochures, one-pagers, and event signage.
  • Prepare press-ready files and manage proofing with print partners.
  • Manage and update a suite of templates across channels for editability and to prevent creative fatigue.
  • Create brand identities and supporting graphics for major campaigns.
  • Ensure all creative assets meet brand standards.
  • Support advancement and corporate partnerships teams with design requests for communications.
  • Assist the programmatic team with design needs for events and promotions.
  • Perform day-to-day updates on websites using HubSpot and WordPress, including page layouts and campaign pages.
  • Collaborate on website UX to ensure a clear and seamless donor journey.
  • Analyze website traffic and performance metrics to inform UX and design decisions.
  • Manage website code (HTML/CSS) for proper functionality, cookie compliance, and tag placement.
  • Manage advertising platform pixels using Google Tag Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in advertising, design, or a relevant field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in graphic design or in-house creative, preferably in marketing or a nonprofit setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience in graphic design for both print and digital.
  • Hands-on experience with layout updates in a CMS.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to translate creative briefs into effective designs.
  • Understanding of creative needs for print and digital channels and performance analysis.
  • Strong typography, layout, and color judgment.
  • Portfolio showcasing work within an established brand system.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Express).
  • Print production experience, including preparing press-ready files and working with print vendors.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with HubSpot CMS and WordPress, including building and editing page layouts.
  • Experience placing advertising pixels within Google Tag Manager.
