About the Role

As a Dumpling Prep / Trainee, you will prepare, assemble, fold, and steam dumplings in a show kitchen environment, playing a key role on the kitchen team and contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, fold, and steam dumplings.
• Measure and cut dough, roll skins, stuff, seal, arrange, and steam dumplings.
• Ensure proper meat and allergen identifiers are added.
• Maintain a clean and organized dumpling room.
• Label items according to procedures and regulations.
• Participate in monthly staff and dumpling meetings.
• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
• Organize items within walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Lift/move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds).
• Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to provide documentation to work in the United States legally.

Skills

• Dough preparation (pastry, pizza, etc.) is a plus.
