About the Role
The TELUS PureFibre Team drives strategic capital allocation for our world-leading broadband network, delivering Canada's fastest and most reliable internet to homes and businesses. We are seeking a resourceful Financial Analyst who can synthesize complex datasets into strategic decisions that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Support financial close processes, reconciliation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial models to optimize margins and drive growth across the existing fibre footprint.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify market trends, customer demand patterns, and margin expansion opportunities.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and summary reports to inform business strategy and decision making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial modeling and market research.
- Proven ability to drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics, dashboards, and metrics to monitor program health, identify risks early, and present strategic recommendations.
- Skilled at managing multiple deliverables in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Advanced Excel and G-Suite proficiency.
- Experience in telecommunications or other capital-intensive industries.
- Working knowledge of SAP/S4 HANA.
- Knowledge of SQL and BI tools.
