About the Role
In this role, you will support strategic activities related to international political and geopolitical developments. You will work closely with experienced stakeholders from various regions and disciplines, contributing to global initiatives, thought leadership activities, and stakeholder engagement. As a working student, you will gain direct insights into the interplay of global political developments with the digital economy and collaboration with governments, policymakers, and international organizations. Your work will help our team develop compelling narratives, strengthen relevant stakeholder relationships, and successfully implement international events.
Responsibilities
- Support in planning, coordinating, and executing international events, workshops, and management appointments.
- Research and monitor current developments in digital policy, technology regulation, geopolitics, and international relations.
- Contribute to the creation of presentations, briefing documents, core messages, and strategic narratives.
- Assist with stakeholder mapping, engagement activities, and relationship management.
- Create background analyses and summaries of political and geopolitical trends.
- Support internal communication and knowledge management within the team.
Requirements
- Student (m/f/d) at a university or university of applied sciences.
- Preferred fields of study: Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, European Studies, Communication, Law, Economics, or comparable fields.
- Computer skills: AI savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Language skills: Very good written and spoken English skills (at least B2); additional foreign languages are an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex content.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Independent, proactive, and reliable work style.
- At least 2 semesters remaining until graduation to support the team for at least 1 year.
