About the Role
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to support psychiatric clinical trials at our Manhattan research site. In this role, you will conduct psychiatric and clinical assessments, help determine participant eligibility, and collaborate with investigators and research staff throughout the study process. This opportunity is ideal for a PA interested in behavioral health, research, and structured, protocol-driven clinical work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric interviews and standardized rating-scale assessments
- Evaluate potential participants for clinical trial eligibility
- Perform clinical and physical assessments according to study protocols
- Document findings accurately and maintain study records
- Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, and study sponsors
- Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements
- Participate in study training and investigator meetings
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted New York State Physician Assistant license
- Psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Interest in psychiatric research and evidence-based care
