About the Role
As an experienced PMO Analyst, you will support the delivery of projects within a strategic transformation program. You should have experience supporting project delivery within a large program of change, be able to assist Project Managers/Programme PMO with minimal guidance, and cover the full spectrum of PMO duties.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager(s) and Programme PMO in day-to-day project management activities including reporting, change control, planning, and RAIDs management.
- Create and maintain resource demand forecasts, liaise with resource managers to secure appropriate resources, and keep these aligned and up to date in GoldMine.
- Organize and coordinate cross-Programme tasks/actions to provide bandwidth to the Programme Manager/Programme PMO.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, such as the project management framework.
- Support assurance reviews by providing required artifacts and liaising with relevant parties.
- Develop project artifacts such as Project Initiation Documents (PID), Project Status Reports, Project Plans, and Change Requests.
- Assist in implementing a governance process for structuring, developing, reviewing, approving, and filing key project deliverables, ensuring quality and best practice.
- Prepare and deliver project status reporting to ensure stakeholders receive concise, accurate, and timely information.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including work breakdown structures, validated resource allocation, and critical paths.
- Contribute project information and status updates to Programme Governance meetings, create presentations, organize meetings, and document decisions and actions.
- Provide general communication to the Programme as required.
- Conduct reviews at appropriate intervals to capture and utilize knowledge gained from project delivery.
- Support project teams' usage of tools and manage software application licenses.
- Perform SharePoint administration.
- Manage the Project Change Control process for changes to baselined project plans, present Change Requests to the Programme Steering Committee for approval, and re-baseline project plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in project delivery, in a PMO and/or project manager capacity.
- Experience in an Insurance environment, ideally Specialty but General Insurance acceptable.
- Experience of entry into new markets and launching products into those new markets (Europe Expansion).
- Experience of cross-functional product development across people, process, and technology (Europe Expansion).
