Responsibilities
- Offer support to Investment Advisors.
- Proactively improve the client experience.
- Manage all administrative aspects of Wood Gundy branch operations.
- Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level.
- Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with the team.
- Identify activities, processes, and opportunities to improve the client experience.
- Provide day-to-day operation and administrative support to the branch and Investment Advisors.
- Manage debits, client files, and administrative and transactional banking functions in adherence to compliance and audit requirements.
- Perform Investment Advisor duties such as taking buy/sell orders of money market products, bonds, stocks, and mutual funds, ensuring accuracy.
- Ensure customer service standards and operational procedures are maintained by liaising among many departments within Wood Gundy.
Requirements
- Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
- Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience.
- Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.
- Client-first approach, engaging with the purpose of finding the right solutions.
- Driven to succeed, motivated by accomplishing goals and delivering best efforts.
- Engage with heart and mind, caring about people and understanding different perspectives.
- Success-oriented with attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Values-driven, bringing your authentic self to work and living values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
- Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
- May be asked to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests.
