About the Role

General environmental duties including wall washing, bed and room cleaning, discharge cleaning, and trash removal. Required to work in the OR and perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment.

• Perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment.
• Work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities.

• Perform duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write simple English.
• Understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Speak, read, and write English to comprehend in-services and department literature.
• Customer service oriented.
• Heavy physical effort – lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged, extensive & considerable standing/walking.
• Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling.
• May require travel to other locations to support operational needs.
• Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance.
• Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three (3) professional references.
• Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen.
• Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.
• Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).
