Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to people of all ages with developmental disabilities, throughout the Capital District, in the person's private home, or out in the community.
  • Engage in recreational and community-based activities such as shopping, exercise groups, and restaurants.
  • Provide learning opportunities to support their goal to achieve independence.
  • Support people with different abilities to learn and practice skills to gain greater independence, work towards achieving their dreams and be valued members of the community.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
