About the Role
This temporary internship position in the CRISPR Applications and Market Development Department offers the opportunity to gain experience working with a cross-functional wet-lab/dry-lab team, supporting NGS and CRISPR product development efforts. Bioinformatics projects will involve sophisticated data analysis, utility creation, and software tool development for internal use.
Responsibilities
- Create bioinformatics software tools using one or more programming languages.
- Analyze biological and chemical scientific data.
- Communicate results with bioinformatics and experimental product development teams.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing or having a degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 2 years’ experience in Linux and Python.
