About the Role
This role focuses on growing relationships with leading global insurance providers and brokers. You will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic customers, building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to expand our work into new business units, functions, and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Take full commercial and strategic ownership of major global insurance provider and broker accounts.
- Develop and execute multi-year account plans, revenue targets, and growth strategies.
- Expand existing relationships across new business units, functions, regions, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify, and close complex, high-value Data and AI services opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business, data, and technology leaders.
- Develop a detailed understanding of each customer’s strategic priorities and position Advancing Analytics’ capabilities against their most important business challenges.
- Identify opportunities across areas such as underwriting, pricing, claims, broking, risk, customer experience, finance, and regulatory reporting.
- Lead the commercial development of multi-tower, multi-year Data and AI programmes.
- Build relationships across customers’ global organisations, including stakeholders in the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Work with Microsoft, Databricks, and other strategic partners to create and accelerate joint opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with consulting and delivery teams to ensure strong customer outcomes and long-term account growth.
- Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity information, and forecasts within HubSpot.
- Mentor and guide the wider account team, creating clear ownership and alignment across strategic pursuits.
Requirements
- A strong track record in enterprise Data and AI services sales or software / SaaS sales managing major insurance providers and global brokers.
- Experience managing and growing strategic relationships within large, complex, and globally distributed organisations.
- A strong understanding of the insurance sector, including the commercial, regulatory, customer, and technology priorities shaping providers and brokers.
- An understanding of the different operating models and priorities of insurers, reinsurers, and global insurance brokers.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing strategic, multi-year account plans.
- The ability to identify opportunities and connect customer priorities with consulting, engineering, and Data and AI services.
- A proven ability to build credible, trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders across business, data, and technology functions.
- Experience leading complex, high-value sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, business units, and geographies.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and ownership of the end-to-end sales process.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering measurable business outcomes and an excellent customer experience.
- Experience working directly with Microsoft and/or Databricks, or within their partner ecosystems, to develop joint opportunities.
- The ability to work effectively across sales, consulting, delivery, marketing, and partner teams.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot to manage account activity, pipeline, and forecasting.
