About the Role
We are seeking a Junior or Senior Construction Manager with a focus on construction projects in shopping centers and hotels, starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the realization of complex construction projects in shopping centers and hotels nationwide.
- Manage projects involving existing properties, new constructions, and expansion projects.
- Execute phases 6, 7, and 8 of HOAI for renovations, re-lettings, and modernizations.
- Participate in tendering and awarding processes.
- Create and maintain schedules and cost plans.
- Lead and minute construction meetings, coordinating all project stakeholders.
- Control, monitor, and document construction site processes and execution to ensure quality, timelines, and costs.
- Supervise site safety, conduct construction acceptance according to VOB, and manage expert and authority inspections.
- Review invoices, manage project accounting, and handle associated documentation.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training and professional experience in a trade (e.g., drywall installer, carpenter, exhibition stand builder, electrician) or a degree in civil engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., master craftsman or technician training).
- Several years of professional experience: Senior Construction Managers lead construction sites independently; Junior Construction Managers receive initial guidance and training from an experienced manager.
- Applicable knowledge of construction law, fire protection, and construction engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office and interest in digital project execution.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken, minimum B2).
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
