About the Role

The Plant Production Worker - Packaging will be responsible for retrieving, palletizing, and wrapping products. This position is also required to learn all stations of the Bag-In-Box (BIB) machine and offload drum trailers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspection of containers.
  • Drain and check line cleanliness.
  • Sample packaged goods for quality retain records.
  • Label packaged products.
  • Fill various package units to target weights and volumes.
  • Program fill line machines to target weights and volumes.
  • Conduct post-fill inspections, ensuring containers are properly closed and sealed, and wiping down debris/excess fluids.
  • Move products to/from blenders and stock tanks.
  • Secure package products for shipment, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and zip tie closures.
  • Complete necessary inventory documents, such as Production Tickets, Transfer Logs, and Sales Order Bills of Lading.
  • Verify inventory of bulk tanks and storage units.
  • Adhere to all applicable work instructions and procedures.
  • Complete scheduled work activities with focus in a particular area.
  • Maintain clean warehouses and work areas.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and safe operations.
  • Assist in other areas within the plant as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School/GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred in a related position.
