About the Role
Golden Artist Colors is seeking a Shipping Tech to join their team. This role is crucial for managing the logistics of art materials, ensuring products reach customers efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Load and unload products onto and from trucks.
- Review and complete shipping documents.
- Print shipping labels.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory control.
- Pick, pack, and label orders.
- Check product quantities and quality.
- Process orders and record identifying information.
- Conduct inspections of products and orders.
- Inform others of damages or shortages.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Receive HAZMAT training.
- Gain knowledge of shipping requirements for all GOLDEN products.
- Receive training on order pickers, wave machines, pallet jacks, ride-on pallet jacks, and the scanning system.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with additional computer training, or equivalent.
- Entry Level - 3-6 months of work experience in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse work.
- Continuous standing/walking on concrete surface.
- Frequent stair/ladder climbing.
- Constant reaching with bilateral upper extremities.
- Occasional to frequent bending and squatting.
- Constant grasping/pinching/fingering and fine motor manipulation.
- Frequent light to moderate pushing and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Occasional lifting/transferring of 5 gallon containers (up to 62 lbs.).
- Intermittent lifting of 5 gallon pails weighing up to 75 pounds from floor to waist.
- Constant lifting of 1-10 pounds.
- Good visual acuity.
- Auditory acuity to communicate and monitor work environment.
- Occasional lifting of completed rack assemblies in boxes (30-50 lbs.).
