About the Role

N26 is seeking a Senior Executive Associate, Corporate Governance to manage the organization, preparation, and documentation of Management Board committee meetings. This role involves creating and updating procedures, processes, and corporate governance topics, as well as implementing new rules and regulations. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams, including Corporate Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk Management, and the Executive Office.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prepare, and document Management Board committee meetings.
  • Create and update procedures, processes, and corporate governance topics.
  • Implement new rules and regulations.
  • Ensure committee processes comply with N26’s corporate governance practices and legal requirements.
  • Review and update policy and process documentation related to committees.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure committee processes are adhered to and project timelines are met.
  • Perform quality assurance and implement minimum standards for committee meeting preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Rules of Procedure of respective committees and conduct annual reviews.
  • Conduct annual assessments of committees’ effectiveness.
  • Document committee meetings and maintain the integrity and appropriate storage of documents.
  • Perform regulatory screening of regulations concerning the governance of the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
  • Facilitate special projects.
  • Provide access to internal documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings, including facilitating follow-up action items.
  • Review and edit submissions to N26 management for clarity, style, purpose, and desired outcomes.
  • Upload material to the meeting management tool.
  • Update business processes in the process landscape tool.
  • Manage approvals via the document signature tool.
  • Support internal stakeholders with requests related to corporate governance practices.
  • Contribute to the content of annual reports.
  • Support the documentation required for the induction of new Supervisory Board and Management Board members.
  • Maintain the deputy regulations registers for N26 SE and N26 Bank SE.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, law, or business administration.
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting Senior Managers or Leaders is a plus.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Previous experience organizing an annual general meeting is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A strong level of German is a plus.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while delivering high quality.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of German banking regulation and corporate governance topics.
