About the Role

MG+M The Law Firm is seeking Associate Attorneys to join our growing litigation team in California. We are looking for attorneys with a minimum of three years of defense litigation experience in Construction Defect, General Liability, Product Liability, or related civil litigation matters.

Responsibilities

  • Handle local and national accounts throughout the State of California.
  • Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial.
  • Review and analyze discovery requests and responses.
  • Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings.
  • Take lead roles in plaintiff and expert witness depositions.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial support.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and team members to develop case strategy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing and time records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Construction Defect, General Liability, Product Liability, or other comparable civil defense litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in California and in good standing.
  • Experience handling all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
