About the Role

NBCUniversal Advertising Sales & Partnerships is seeking an Analyst of Primary Research & Experimentation to execute research studies supporting Ad Sales business across linear TV, digital platforms, and the Peacock streaming service. This role is key to guiding strategic decisions and positioning by driving audience intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource on primary research for internal stakeholders and external advertiser clients.
  • Solve stakeholder problems by understanding business objectives and crafting appropriate research designs.
  • Design and manage qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including developing instruments, managing fielding, analyzing data, and writing reports.
  • Leverage data to build strong narratives through robust analysis and contextualize learnings with third-party data.
  • Manage research vendors to ensure adherence to best practices, timelines, deliverables, and data quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a relevant field preferred (Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, etc).
  • 1+ years of experience in primary research, designing and managing complex projects, and consulting with clients/internal stakeholders.
  • Statistics knowledge and experience required.
  • Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills, including experience managing clients/stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools like R, SPSS, and/or SAS preferred.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite.
