About the Role
Join RMWBH Law's growing POA team as a Post-Judgment Litigation Paralegal. This role supports our expanding practice and offers opportunities for remote work after a period of employment.
Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and filing them with the court.
- Performing administrative duties such as calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.
- Coordinating with constable or sheriff for judicial foreclosure sales.
- Calculating payoff amounts and/or negotiating payment plans with defendants or judgment debtors.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal and Post-Judgment Paralegal.
- Applicable knowledge of judicial foreclosure procedures, motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
- Experience with District and County Court systems.
- Experience working with constables and sheriffs in facilitating judicial foreclosure sales.
- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail.
- Extensive computer and database expertise.
