About the Role

Seeking an Application Developer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal and client-facing business applications within a financial services environment. This role offers opportunities to work on enterprise technology projects in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internally developed and third-party applications.
• Provide support for Microsoft SQL Server databases and related applications.
• Coordinate and perform application change management and deployment activities.
• Support business users and IT teams in understanding application functionality and system design.
• Assist end users with software utilization and troubleshooting.
• Participate in application development, enhancement, and system migration projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of application development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience with ASP.NET.
• Experience with C#.
• Experience with VB.NET.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets environments.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, wholesale banking, lending, or market risk management.
• Experience with SWIFT messaging and payment systems.
• Intermediate programming experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, VBA).
• Experience with SharePoint administration.
• Experience with UiPath Studio (RPA) development.
• Experience working in a hybrid and multicultural environment.
• Understanding of application security and change management best practices.
