About the Role

Deliver on Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust Advanced Player Development Centre in Hertfordshire, educating and developing young people as footballers and individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality football delivery to local ‘advanced’ grassroots football players in line with project values and structure.
  • Ensure coaching sessions are delivered in line with the FA Four Corner Model and the PDC coaching syllabus.
  • Tailor coaching approach and style to fit the individual needs of each player.
  • Ensure the team provides high-quality provision to all players.
  • Liaise with joint Player Development Officers (PDOs) to build and maintain relationships with local grassroots football clubs and/or players.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2/UEFA C Certificate in Coaching Football or working towards.
  • In-date FA First Aid and Safeguarding Qualifications.
  • Experience delivering high-quality football sessions to ‘advanced’ Grassroots players.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and commitment to fixtures during half terms.
  • Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Salary/Compensations

  • L2 - £13.50ph
  • L3 - £16.00ph
