About the Role

UCP Long Island is hiring full-time team members to support adults with developmental disabilities in a positive, high-energy day program. Enjoy a supportive team, engaging daily activities, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career helping others thrive.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily needs such as meals, mobility, and personal care while treating everyone with dignity and respect
• Support fun activities, games, and community outings
• Encourage independence and help individuals build confidence and life skills
• Safely transport individuals using agency vehicles (including wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)
• Maintain simple, accurate documentation (daily notes, attendance, logs)
• Work as part of a team to create a positive, engaging environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required
• Ability to assist with hands-on care, including lifting
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills

Skills

• Caregiving experience is a plus
