About the Role

Seeking a reliable team leader to provide oversight in our Residential IRA in Patchogue. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of residences, provide staff supervision and coordination of services to ensure the health and well-being of participants.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate Assistant Residence Manager and all direct support professionals employed in the residence.
• Ensure staff are trained with the skills necessary to provide the appropriate care and treatment to each individual.
• Provide oversight for each individual's personal allowance, bank accounts and financial records.
• Ensure families and advocates are informed of the individual's condition and progress.
• Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy and standards are being met.
• Ensure implementation of goals, plans or methods as provided.
• Ensure overall quality of appearance of residence.
• Responsible for attending program meetings.
• Coordinate staff meetings.
• Coordinate annual/interim meetings.
• Ensures that the program is in compliance with all regulations.
• Ensure health and well-being of individuals at all times, and assist individuals to live life as independently making life without limits a reality.
• Direct Care duties in absence of staff.
• Available on call via phone.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New York State Drivers License in good standing + 1 year licensed driving experience.

Skills

• AMAP, CPR & First Aid, SCIP certifications preferred.
• One to three years related experience and/or training.
• Supervisory experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
